I wonder just how many newsgroups this appeared in.

>Others have paid hundreds and even thousands of dollars
>for this expensive service.  Now you can have this

And still others called up the IRS and had their free publications on
the subject sent to them.

And some even went so far as to hire a competent accountant to save them
hundreds and even thousands of dollars more.

But to this day, the simplest and most effective way for a home
business person to save money is to not declare earnings.

If you found these tax-tips useful and informative, please send
$5.00 to sj…@nwu.edu (note that I am cheaper than moon.earthlink.net)

What's Up With Inovatronics?

Can anyone tell me what’s up with Inovatronics?  I’ve tried calling
them for the past two weeks regarding the latest CanDo 3.0 patch (I’m
currently using 3.05), but all I ever get is non-stop ringing, or a
non-stop busy signal.  Does anyone out there have a more recent patch
then 3.05?  Thanks.

Re: Where to get nec drivers and amiga

If you have a SCSI controller which supports removable media it should
work without a software driver. The controller has it’s own driver on
the board. As for a CD filesystem, I use AsimCDFS and it work great.

Question: GIF transparency in AMosaic?

Is there a GIF datatype/AMosaic combination which will honor the 89A
specific information, which specifies that a colour is transparent? Ie,
that amosaic should use the use the background colour (what ever it might
be)?

(They do it on other platforms, you know :)

Wanted: AmigaVision PRO

I’m looking for used (or new, for that matter) copy of the latest
(AGA bug-fixed) version of AmigaVision Pro. I’m stuck with the old
AV, no dealers carry the software and, after C=’s demise, there’s no way
to obtain an upgrade. Please help, anyone?!?

B&W video convergence test ala Video Toaster…

I’ve got a HUGE request (and a deadline)!!!!!  I’m searching for an old
convergence test image that was used on b&w televisions in the 30s/40s.
This image is very similar to/same as the Video Toaster graphic that has been
used heavily in promotion of Video Toasters (Garth’s T-shirt in Wayne’s
World 2 is an example).

I believe the original image had a Native American Chief’s Head in the
center.

It is VERY IMPORTANT that I find this image for a presentation that is
being made in New York on Wednesday, Feb 22!!!!!!!!

HELP!

Re: quality images for scala

Gary,

>I’m looking for a way to get images from video.
>can anyone recommend hard/software to get quality images?

I recommend looking at the MacroSystem’s External V-Lab Y/C.  It allows
you to grab video images in 1/30th of a second from a composite or Y/C (S
Video) source and convert to any standard AGA screen mode.  MacroSystem’s
products are distributed here in the U.S. by NoahJi.  You can obtain the
V-Lab from just about any Amiga vendor.

Also, be sure to check out our Scala Art Library Vol. 1 & 2.  Each volume
contains 60 images, created by our talented artists at our Scala Studios
in Europe.  The libraries are distributed by Creative Equipment
International (CEI) in North America and available from your favorite
Amiga vendor.
